Adding video to Keynote for iPad.

The best way to add video is: add the video to iTunes for Mac/Windows, Choose Advances, Convert to iPad format, Add to the Photos library, Sync to iPad. The video will be in your Photos library on iPad. Make sure you check Sync Videos.
