Apple Modem and Personal Modem
An Apple modem lets your Macintosh communicate with the rest of the world using telephone lines. So you can send and receive messages through electronic mail, subscribe to news services, find out the latest price of your stocks, or access an entire university library from your Macintosh. The Apple Modem is available with either a 300 or 1200 baud rate.
