The desktop:

Changes-
	The Finder had an enhanced Get Info. It displayed a file's version number.
	The Finder had an enhanced Erase Disk. A cancel button and a new dialog box.
	The System added the Notification Monitor. It would let applications notify you, if they needed you, in the menu bar.
	Revised Sound Manager, the Mac Plus - Mac II had the same sound system now.
	MacroMaker and CloseView debuted. 
	The Font/DA Mover handled the NFNT(new font-numbering table) format.
	SuperDrive support was included.
