Weekly Update:
1/1/05: Without warning the people at UOGateway.com have decided that the shard name of Britannia violates a registered trademark of Electronic Arts and have removed the shard from their system and banned my account on there (as I cannot log in anymore to UOGateway.com). No e-mail warning was issued to me at all.

Thanks for everyone who supported this free shard. I am sad to take it offline as there is no easy way for you all to connect to it anymore. This site is just a reminder of the great things this shard was and was to become.

Ultima: Britannia - Is an Ultima Online Age of Shadows based shard. It's goal is to provide fun and adventure for those who like to Roleplay, go on quests, and just chat about their latest adventures. Roleplaying is encouraged but not required.

What facets exist? Britannia and Ilshenar. Britannia uses the Trammel ruleset mainly. Dungeon Khaldun uses the Felucca ruleset and is the only spot where PvP can occur without consent. Dungeon Khaldun is located in the Lost Lands (T2A). It is located in the same spot as Felucca, only now in Britannia (Trammel).

Requirements:
We are using this server as a testing base for players to develop characters that they want to use on the Ultima Online servers run by Electronic Arts. You will have to gain skills the hard way, however the shard is set up for x4 normal gain rates.

Have your UO: Age of Shadows client (fully patched) or just use the UO 7th Anniversary edition (it comes with full AOS and fully patched) and UO Gateway. We have turned on Auto Account Creation, so connect and have fun right away.

Setup is the base setup of RunUO software version 1.0 RC0.
