The lure ofBuc's Den is that it is so completely uncharming. it is only for the stron of arm and ruthless of character, since even the town proper is "guard free"and crime goes unpunished save by the retaliation of the local populace.

It is, essentially, a good place to lean the niceties of being a nasty person. there are very few shops of any longstanding duration, but those people are stron enough to make their way there can be very useful comrades at arms... though never make the mistake of trusting them!

This is not a good place for the untried to venture.

This uncivilized community is located on the large island on the southeast edge of Brittany Bay. Buccaneer's Den is less of a city or town than it is a collection of hovels and huts where privateers and pirates can hole up to avoid the law or prepare for the next excursion.

With the exception of a few blacksmiths who are there to provide weapon and armor repairs, nearly all items of technology found on the island are stolen from coastal cities or plundered from misfortunate shops.
