Ultima: Britannia

History of Ultima: Britannia-

As told by Marcus of Vesper, scribe of Lord British

Ultima: Britannia - History

Our history hails from 3 story lines: the Ultima series and Ultima Online. We have decided to not include the history from ORIGIN (Ultima Online 2).

Ultima: Britannia is unique where differnet tales and twists have come together and formed a new adventure. Our shard started when the the traveller from afar came to Sosaria and freed this wonderful world from Mondain. Mondain's death formed this new shard where the traveller from afar became known as The Avatar. Their is still followers of Mondain lurking around, usually mumbling about his return.

We shared many of the same adventures as the Main shard of Britannia: The downfall of Exodus, the Quest for the Virtues, the Warriors of Destiny, the False Prophet, the Black Gate, the Forge of Virtue, the Serpent Isle, The Silver Seed all touched our home, our Britannia.

Minax and the Shadowlords were defeated soon after. Britannia never became as two facets, our Britannia was healed and stayed as one! New lands were being discovered like a area called "The Lost Lands". Two new cities were discovered, Delucia and Papua!

We even shared part of the destruction of Britannia in Ascension, which was restored once the Avatar completed that adventure. It seems after the Avatar took away the Guardian all of the catastrophes which shattered Britannia was healed and restored. A f\ew rements still remain from this like Stonegate Tower, Paws and the Village of Dawn. Good thing all of the Wyrmguards under Lord Blackthorn's control are gone with Lord Blackthorn.

Once peace was restored, Lord Blackthorn tried to conquer all of Britannia by unleashing an ancient foe, the Jukas upon us. These Jukas destroyed the village of Yew, which remains as a swamp. We hope we can heal all of the sick Yew trees and return Yew to its former glory of forest. Not even the Meer could help, after we defeated their mortal enemy the Juka. I doubt this will be the last we see of Lord Blackthorn!

At last the new landmass of Ilshenar was announced and brought forth to the citizens. Truely an amazing find! We thought the Wyrmguards were finished, alas they have a castle fortress in this new land. Lord Blackthorn was not reported as being seen, so we can only speculate what he is up to. In this new land we meet up with the village of the Meer, truly a place of beauty. The Gargoyle City has wonderous new techniques for Britannia's labors. Check this out if you ever get a chance.

All this discovery really puts us at peace. No new sieges of our mainland, well except for the trolls, ettins, orges and the occasional ruffian.

Malas? Never heard of it! It seems on many of our "Sister" shard fragments have a new land to populate, but not here. Perhaps we will see this landmass when the timelords wish it upon us.
