The Summer Jousting Tournament at the Village of Fenwich I want to express my gratitude to all of the Knights who competed in battle to earn the title of Summer Tournament Champion. We have 5 Knights who bring honor and professionalism to the fine lands of Britannia and Malas. They will all be recognized in Fenwich as honorable friends. I thank everyone for attending and competing in this event! The spirit of Lake Austin still thrives onward! The Tournament Everyone who attended had a great time! This wonderful night was only second to GM Nyssa arriving to see how this event worked. We all had a blast watching the noble Knights and chatting with each other. In the 2D client her stunning robe and staff - In the 3D client, Nyssa appeared a tad invisible. She is underneath the words Mani- A total of five great Knights signed to compete in the tournament. These knights were very entertaining to watch as we were gulping for air with each blow their lances caused. I swear I felt every hit of steel against steel! The Knights who competed were: - Toxic - Jupiter - Lord Ottovoo - Gregory - Almasy The Battles First up we had Gregory vs Toxic. This was an a honorable fight indeed. Alas it was over on the first hit. Gregory was unhorsed doing a double back flip beore his head smashed against the grass. You could feel the ouch! In a brave move, Toxic won the first match. The second battle was between Lord Ottovoo and Jupiter. This match was very fun to watch. There was 2 blows exchanged before Jupiter dismounted Lord Ottovoo. Both knights showed courage and bravery. Unfortunately an important event occurred and Almasy had to leave. The final battle put Toxic against Jupiter. Both brave knights were ready to see who was the Summer Champion of Fenwich. On the first hit, both knights took damage. The lances bounced off of the shields protecting the knights. Each knight was ready for another turn. On the second leg of the match, both connected their lances. The knights gave it their all, you could see determination on both of their faces. But Jupiter was thrown off of his mount, meaning we had our Summer Tournament Champion! the Illustrious Toxic! The Finale of Ceremonies Lady Rose of Fenwich presented Illustrious Toxic with the Summer Tournament Champion title and tournament prizes. The Summer Tournament Champion of Fenwich received 500,000 gold pieces (check),a Golden Axe with Luck of 90 and Damage Increase 19%, and a 110 Fencing PowerScroll! Because the of many donated items we were able to give out a runner up prize. A gold check for 25,000 went to the Estimable Jupiter! Pictures!
